Getting into cms based website design and development

CMS based website design and development is basically building a site where you can edit stuff without touching code every time. Like pages, blog posts, images, menus. You log in, you change it, you hit publish. That part alone makes it feel less scary, because the site is not locked behind a developer wall.

But then I start thinking ok cool, which CMS and why. WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Drupal, headless ones too. Each one pushes the design and the build in a different direction. So I keep coming back to basics like clean layout, good content setup, mobile first screens, speed, security updates, backups. It sounds boring but it saves your site when something goes wrong at 2am.
